Top Trends for 2017

Members of the dfine merchandise team made the annual trip to Las Vegas earlier this month for the Promotional Products Association International tradeshow. Outside of connecting with our current partners, dfine’s goals during this event were to find new products and experience the upcoming trends. We always come back with new energy and ideas to pass along to our clients. There were a few trends that really stood out to us at this year’s event that we think will be very successful in 2017.

Catchy Phrases

The use of catchy phrases as fun imprints brings a more personal and retail touch to products, and makes it more likely for the recipients to use the item. There are so many ways to tie in a corporate logo subtly as a part of the imprint, or in other unique customization options.

Custom Personal Accessories

dfine’s team also saw a trend of custom personal accessories—socks, jewelry, cuff links. Creating a retail-looking piece adds value to the item and excites recipients for a more personalized gift. We have so many ideas of how to create these to tie into your event, manager gifts, employee recognition and more. Our team loved the packaging opportunities for these items as well.

Natural Elements

Another direction we noticed was the use of natural elements in products. Cute paper fabric fold-over bags, cotton totes and drawstring bags, and wooden tech products and packaging. These products give tech items a new spin and great ways to spruce up packaging for any kit or giveaway item.

Let us show you how you can incorporate these trends into your next event or giveaway!
